The Demon Within - Critical Bugs Fixed

Updated version with health bars fixed and health recovery at checkpoints

Some clarifications: Please do not spam ENTER on the dialogues, it can break the game, thank you :) 

Press K to restart if you ever get stuck (on the main levels). If you reach the end of the first level and don't go to a next screen, press K and try again. 

Note x3: The dialogue boxes that pop up to the side are choices, you have to click on one of them (There is one on the first dialogue screen) 

There is a "parry" and a "riposte". The parry only happens if you block at the last moment before an attack lands, and only then you get a small window to do a Riposte with R.

Game created for the Inbound Shovel Jam 2025. This was extremely fun to make and we are very glad to have participated. The game is a 2D platformer with (the foundations) of a profound story (which we did not get to implement fully, but there are some hints scattered around), it also has amazing music thanks to our composer. We put a lot of effort into the combat but if it is not balanced, we apologize, we did not get much time for testing. Anyways, thank you for playing, it means a lot to us and we are very happy to have created this game/
